How to Deal with Your Building Computer  Recycling?

There are two different options:   

  • You can bring your building computer recycling to 1930 Como.   
  • You can fill out the form provided below to arrange a pickup time from your building

Procedure to drop off your building computer recycling at 1930 Como:
  • Empty boxes will be placed by loading dock at 1930 Como
  • Three rows of boxes will be setup  for the following sorting requirements:
    • Row 1: CPU's and laptops
    • Row 3: All other computer and peripherals e-waste
    • Row 2: All other e-waste
  • In the buildings with too much to transport to 1930 Como,  please make sure that computer recycling is sorted accordingly and ready to be picked up.  This pick-up should be scheduled for a specific one week period.  There is no sorting, storage or packaging requirements
  • Buildings with the room and 25 or more computers to dispose, please contact Ted Sherman at  ted.sherman@spps.org for individual assistance.

The Asset Recovery pick-ups do not have any storage/packaging requirements, just a contact phone # of a person who knows and has access to the equipment needing disposal.  Of course the normal remove the district tag and forwarding the information to Ron Koetz is still required by building personnel.
 


 


 


 


Enter the number of computers, monitors, printers and other computer peripherals you will be recycling. Do not count non-computer related equipment in this form such as overhead projectors or typewriters.
 


Please indicate where in your building this equipment will be located.
 


If you have equipment to pick up, Enter the date between 1 May 2008 and 10 June 2008 that your building will be ready for pick up

In case the equipment is not picked up before the end of the school year enter the name of someone that will be at the school during the summer.
